BOXBOY! is a puzzle-platforming series developed by HAL Laboratory.

BOXBOY! (2015)
In BOXBOY!, players guide Qbby through various levels using his ability to create boxes.
BOXBOXBOY! (2016)
In BOXBOXBOY!, Qbby gains the ability to create two sets of boxes at once thanks to Planetron.
BYE-BYE BOXBOY! (2017)
BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! (2019)
BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! adds a two-player campaign where one player controls Box Dad, and the other controls Box Mom. In the single-player "A Tale for One" story, players control either Qbby or Qucy. Qudy is also playable after the first story is completed in single-player or multi-player.
Characters
Qbby
The primary protagonist of all BOXBOY! games is Qbby, a cube with the ability to create boxes. In both BOXBOY! and BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! he, accompanied by Qucy and Qudy, save the Box Planet from Black Smoke.
Qucy
Qucy appears as a supporting protagonist in all BOXBOY! games and in BOXBOY! and BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! assists Qbby and Qudy in saving the Box Planet from the Black Smoke. She appears as a playable character in BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL!.
Qudy
Qudy appears as a supporting protagonist in all BOXBOY! games and in BOXBOY! and BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! assists Qbby and Qucy in saving the Box Planet from the Black Smoke. He is playable in BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL!'s A Tall Tale campaign which follows his journey that took place whilst Qbby and Qucy were activating the Machines on the meteor.
Future
Released in 2019, BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! is currently the most recent installment in the series, leaving the series in a sort of unannounced extended hiatus.
In 2019, when asked about the series' future in an interview with Famitsu, series creator Yasuhiro Mukae stated that while his team had not discussed what their next project (BOXBOY! or otherwise) would be, he would like to see the series continue and would be happy to oversee development on a hypothetical new installment.[1]
