This article is about the demo obtained through the Send Demo feature in the first BOXBOY! game. You may be looking for BOXBOY! Series Demo Version, which is a different demo which contains levels from all three entries in the BOXBOY! trilogy.

BOXBOY! Demo is a free demo game released by Nintendo intended to introduce players to the first BOXBOY! game. It contains a small selection of levels from the first game.

Trivia

• This game could only be obtained through the Send Demo feature. It was not released on the Nintendo eShop.
• In order to play the demo, you will need to have two systems - the source system with a full copy of BOXBOY! installed, and the target system, which communicates to the source system using Download Play.
• This demo is not to be confused with BOXBOY! Series Demo Version, which was released on the Nintendo eShop and contained levels from all three entries in the BOXBOY! trilogy.
• Because this demo is distributed through local communication with other Nintendo 3DS systems and not the Nintendo eShop, this demo is the only Nintendo 3DS game in the BOXBOY! series still available for download as of March 27th, 2023, when the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U family of systems was closed.
