BOXBOY! Day is an unofficial holiday created by HAL Laboratory, which was made to promote the BOXBOY! series. It takes place annually on the fifth of August.
Events
As BOXBOY! Day is not a real holiday, no major events take place during it. The most common thing that HAL Laboratory has done during BOXBOY! Day is merely just to mention it on social media. Rarely, however, HAL will commemorate it with some kind of event. For example, between August 5th and August 31st of 2018, 
held a special event for BOXBOY! Day where players with high scores could win prizes, such as a Qbby keychain or BOXBOY! comic book, with the grand prize for the player who scored the most over the course of the event being a copy of
