Planetron is a character in BOXBOXBOY! who helps Qbby throughout the game by giving him power-ups and abilities.

Physical Appearance

Planetron is a green square with a ring encircling it and two small black squares orbitting it. It looks similar to the Box Planet.

BOXBOXBOY!

Planetron's first and only appearance in the BOXBOY! series was in BOXBOXBOY!, where it was created by the restored Box Planet that Qbby and Qucy saved in the previous game. It grants Qbby his new ability to create two sets of boxes. Each time Qbby completes a level in BOXBOXBOY!, Planetron uses its power to help him get closer to saving Qucy and Qudy, and, eventually, to revive Qbby himself.

Trivia

• This is the only protagonist in the BOXBOY! trilogy to have a name that does not start with the letter Q.
• While Planetron does not return in future games, similar beings created by Qbabies appear in BYE-BYE BOXBOY! and serve a similar purpose.
• Planetron's name is never mentioned in-game - his name was revealed on the official BOXBOXBOY! website.
