Qbby is one of the two main playable characters of BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! in the "A Tale for One" campaign, along with Qucy.

Gameplay

Qbby has the power to create boxes around him, though the number he can create depends on the certain stage he is in. The Box Plus assist item can increase his box limit by one. Unlike in previous installments, costumes are replaced with accessories which are only cosmetic.

BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL!

In BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL!, Qbby travels through various stages with Qucy in order to save the Box Planet from being destroyed by the black smoke. He sacrifices herself to power the final machine (failing to destroy the meteor in the first ending and successfully destroying the meteor in the second ending).

• He is also described as a "brave youth" in the description for A Tale for One.
• He may be related in some way to Qbby from the BOXBOY! Trilogy.
