The BOXBOY! trilogy encompasses the first three games in the BOXBOY! series, all of which were released on the Nintendo 3DS from 2015 to 2017. They are BOXBOY!, BOXBOXBOY!, and BYE-BYE BOXBOY!. The Japan-exclusive Hakoboy! Stuffed Box includes a physical collection of all three games.
In all three games, players control Qbby.
Story
In BOXBOY!, Qbby, Qucy, and Qudy work together to activate the machines on a black smoke covered planet in order to restore it. All three sacrifice themselves to power the machines and successfully save the planet, leading onto the next game. In BOXBOXBOY!, the now-green planet creates Planetron who assists Qbby in restoring himself and his friends. In BYE-BYE BOXBOY!, Qbby, Qucy, and Qudy travel to different planets to help Qbabies.
