The BOXBOY! trilogy is the collective name given to the three original games in the BOXBOY! series, released on the Nintendo 3DS from 2015 to 2017. They are , , and . Released only in Japan, includes a physical collection of all three games.

In all three games, players control Qbby.

Story

In , Qbby, Qucy, and Qudy work together to activate the machines on a black smoke covered planet in order to restore it. All three sacrifice themselves to power the machines and successfully save the planet, leading onto the next game. In , the now-green planet creates Planetron who goes into Qbby and assists him in restoring himself and his friends. In , Qbby, Qucy, and Qudy travel to different planets to help Qbabies.
