Spikies are the only living enemies to appear in the BOXBOY! series.
Physical Appearance
Spikies are black circles surrounded by spikes with a wave-like bottom. They have two white dots for eyes.
Games
Spikies first appear in . Their main purpose is to be led into spiky boxes to help Qbby progress through the level. However, they kill Qbby when they touch him.
Spikies return in , reprising the same role they did in
. They begin appearing in the game's 8th world The Disappearing Spiky.
Spikies once again return in , and this time they have a new ability. They are able to crawl on the background, and thus do not need to be touching the ground to move. They begin appearing in the game's 14th world Those Nesting Within.
Appearances in other media
Spiky makes an appearance in the third of six BOXBOY! sets available in Nintendo Badge Arcade.

- Spikies first start appearing in World 14 in both

- In one of the BOXBOY! comic strips, Spiky is shown to have the same abilities as Qbby. This is, however, probably only for the sake of the comic and not an actual ability of Spiky.
