HAL Laboratory, Inc. (JP: 株式会社ハル研究所 Kabushikigaisha Haru Kenkyūjo) is a Japanese video game company, founded on the 21st February, 1980. They are the developers of the BOXBOY! series, as well as Part Time UFO and their most popular series, Kirby. It is also a 2nd party developer of Nintendo.

HAL Rooms

In BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL!, there are three hidden HAL rooms which can be accessed. These rooms are empty aside from block lettering spelling out the word "HAL".

BOXBOY! Twitter

HAL Laboratory ran an official BOXBOY! Twitter account from 2015-2021. Their final tweet was made August 5, 2021.[1]
