Miracle Boy! is a special costume combination that appears in BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL!. By equipping the costume, the player can access the game's alternate ending. The costume is activated by equipping all four fragment accessories. The fragments are unlocked by completing each campaign; the player receives one each after completing A Tale for One and A Tall Tale, and two for completing A Tale for Two.
Once Miracle Boy! has been equipped, the player can then access the alternate ending by replaying the final stage of the "A Tale for One" campaign.
In the alternate ending, once Qbby reaches the final machine, the four fragments combine into a Qbby-lookalike who fills in the gap at the machine's base alongside him. Together, they successfully activate the machine and destroy the meteor, saving the Box Planet in the process.
Equipping all four Fragments on Qucy gives the costume a blank name.
Fragments
When equipped, all four fragments appear as rainbow coloured diamonds that follow the player. The game never explicitly states what the fragments do, nor does it say the game has an alternate ending - it only provides hints to their true nature in the form of each accessory's item description.
