Tips and Tricks can be bought as books from the shop in BOXBOY!. Before unlocking a tip book, its description will read "Use your medals to unlock this book, and you'll be able to refer to it anytime."

In all other games in the BOXBOY! trilogy, tips and tricks are free and can be accessed from the pause menu once they are unlocked.

Book of Basics

The Book of Basics contains simple box making techniques used in all levels of BOXBOY!.

BoB Throw.png Throw Once you've made the shape you need, you can throw it. It won't go far, but that little bit can be a big help.
BoB Bridge.png Bridge A bridge is just the thing you need to cross a gap or some dangerous terrain.
BoB Set Down.png Set Down Once you've made the shape you need, you can set it down next to you. Don't worry-- it won't vanish.
BoB Tower.png Tower Need to hit a switch high above you? Use this technique to gain some extra reach.
BoB Low Throw.png Low Throw If you're standing on a ledge, you can toss your creations down over the side.

Helmet This basic defensive technique will protect you from hazards like lasers fired from the ceiling.
Shield A shield will protect you from harm and can be pushed along to keep you safe on the go.
Helmet & Shield With this technique, you can go about your day protected from any dangers that await above or ahead.
Shielding Afro The ultimate defence. Nothing's getting past your new 'do!
Shielding Beard While you won't be able to move, you'll be safe from dangers below or to the sides with this technique.
