Spikies are the only living enemies to appear in the BOXBOY! series.
Physical Appearance
Spikies are black circles surrounded by spikes on the top with wave-like bottom.
Games
BOXBOY!
Spiky first appears in the game's 14th World Steer Clear of Spiky. Their main purpose is to be led into gates to help Qbby progress through a level. However, they hurt Qbby when they touch him.
BOXBOXBOY!
Spiky returns in BOXBOXBOY!, reprising the same role they did in BOXBOY!. They begin appearing in the game's 8th World The Disappearing Spiky.
BYE-BYE BOXBOY!
Spiky once again returns in BYE-BYE BOXBOY!, and this time they have a new ability. They are able to crawl on the background, and thus do not need to be touching the ground to move. They begin appearing in the game's 14th World Those Nesting Within.
In the Nintendo Badge Arcade series
Spiky makes an appearance in one of the six BOXBOY! sets available in Nintendo Badge Arcade.
Trivia
