After almost 10 years of operation on Fandom (originally Wikia), the BOXBOY WIKI! staff have unanimously decided to establish a new, independent wiki.		Hiya! After almost 10 years of operation on Fandom (originally Wikia), the BOXBOY WIKI! staff have unanimously decided to establish a new, independent wiki.

	This decision was made in light of semi-recent controversy surrounding our original host, Fandom. Fandom has been criticized in recent years due to some poor decisions, such as placing intrusive ads throughout the website, forcing every user to confirm their age, and adding Fandom-branded buttons throughout the wiki that don't have anything to do with the site. Unlike Wikipedia, Fandom is a company, and naturally that means they're going to go for the business strategy that generates them profit. But the BOXBOY WIKI! isn't trying to generate revenue, we're just a fun project. Hence our decision to fork.		This decision was made in light of semi-recent controversy surrounding our original host, Fandom. Fandom has been criticized in recent years due to some poor decisions, such as placing intrusive ads throughout the website, forcing every user to confirm their age, and adding Fandom-branded buttons throughout the wiki that don't have anything to do with the site.
