Qbby has the power to create more [[Box|boxes]] around him, though the number he can create depends on the certain stage he is in. The [[Wizard]] [[:Category:Costumes|costume]] can increase his box limit, but no costume can decrease it.

The same applies for the second installment in the series, except that Qbby can create two sets of boxes. The box limit now applies to both sets (not combined) as well. If save data is found from ''BOXBOY! ''and the user unlocked it, the Wizard costume still works.

Qbby can create one set of boxes, as per the first game.
